I need HP Pavilion dv1000 audio & video drivers
(7 posts)My laptop is HP Pavilion dv1000 Notebook PC with
Intel® Mobile Pentium® M processor and it was originally installed windows xp home edition. when I format it and install win xp professional service pack 3 I lost the following drivers
1. multimedia audio controller
2. PCI modem
3. video controller
4. video controller(VGA COMPATIBLE)
I tried to get them from the manufacturers site(hp.com) but they only provide these drivers for win xp service pack2. Can anybody solve my problem? By the way I don’t have the recovery cd.

the drivers on suggested site are only for service pack2
try this it serch's for missing drivers then gets them on line FREE. http://www.devicedoctor.com/ once you download this you will have to click serch
it will send you back online you will then have to donload a little zip file contaneing your driver, you will work it out im running out of ideas. ps i use this

Hi wondecha HERE is a link direct to HP. I have not worked on your particular model with driver probs but I recently had to on another HP XP pro sp3 and the drivers installed fine.

Hi Mike, I download the drivers from the link but it doesnt work. I think they are for service pack 2 their name starts with SP2.
